This opportunity will provide a unique experience in developing novel statistical and machine learning methods using high-dimensional imaging data. The candidate will have the opportunity working with enthusiastic research teams that focus on risk stratification and implementation for breast cancer prevention.

 

Applicants with the following area of expertise will be prioritized:

 - Functional data analysis

 - Supervised learning / high-dimensional data analysis

 - Must be able to implement and document statistical methods in R/Matlab/Python

 

Eligibility: PhD or equivalent in Statistics, Biostatistics or a doctoral degree in another discipline with an interest in transitioning to biostatistical research. 

 

The appointment will be for two years with possibility of extension. There is no teaching requirement for this position. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
