This opportunity will provide a unique experience in developing novel statistical methods towards personalized prediction and risk stratification, utilizing patient-specific profiles that may be high-dimensional or vary over time. The candidate will have the opportunity working with enthusiastic research teams that focus on dynamic risk stratification for prevention of breast cancer to prediction of complications after cancer or premalignant lesions.

 

Applicants with the following area of expertise will be prioritized:

 - Longitudinal/survival analysis

 - Functional data analysis

 - Must be able to implement and document statistical methods in R/Matlab/Python

 

Eligibility: PhD or equivalent in Statistics, Biostatistics or a doctoral degree in another discipline with an interest in transitioning to biostatistical research. 

 

The appointment will be for two years with possibility of extension. There is no teaching requirement for this position. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
